  • author ( 54, man | Livonia, MI, USA )

I think a meeting in a public place is appropriate. Good talk in person to see if an actual date will unfold from the first meeting. I do not like to feel pressured or judged, and treat others with cordial respect.

I prefer to call a first date a meet and greet. Sometimes peoples profiles are not quite who they really are and I think people should just meet, no expectations and see if you are both interested in going on a first dat...  see more >>

Meet for a Cup of coffee or tea, and a good conversation, lets see if there is a spark. If there is a second date; a nice picnic on the beach and a nice walk at sunset.

Breakfast at a diner. Burger from the Drive-in. Worked at night so long dinner is usually liquid!

  • author ( 54, woman | Gilbert, AZ, USA )

Something easy and relaxed where we can actually have a conversation. If we find there's a connection? The possibilities are endless

  • author ( 70, woman | Capitola, CA, USA )

After some time on the phone, cafe is always a good plan and see if we wanna take a walk or keep checking out our eyes

  • author ( 45, woman | Fort Mill, SC, USA )

Casual meeting with conversation to see if we have similar interests. Early morning coffee or brunch is a good start for me!

  • author ( 46, woman | Gurnee, IL, USA )

A great first date should be somewhere we can talk and find out more about each other. Not a movie or a bar with a loud band. Something like mini-golf or lunch.

  • author ( 38, woman | Longmont, CO, USA )

Casual coffie and if there is a spark we could continue on a bike ride, go hiking or go see a movie on a cold night.

  • author ( 68, woman | Sun City, AZ, USA )

I would also like to be able to go to nicer restaurants, take in a concert or go on a gallery walk. I love walking in the rain and holding hands and getting to know each other. I am a hopeless romantic and I do love adve...  see more >>
